The new 2017 King X888 Driver features redesigned Sliding Weights. Two sliding weights give you more setting options than before to personalize performance to fit your game. Redesigned track and sliding 17g weight allows you to fit the club to your swing, providing up to 21 yards of shot-shape correction for more control and distance.
Center Track: Move weight in the center track forward to increase speed. Move weight backwards to improve forgiveness.
Rear Track: Weight is strategically moved to the rear. Adjustable Perimeter Weighting offers precision shot-shape control.
Cup face design enlarges the effective face area and sweet spot. The benefit is increased rebound effect for more distance. Conventional driver heads have a tig welding line behind the face, our innovative cup face design allows for welding on the body shell. This technique reduces the risk of cracks and makes the face thinner and wider promoting faster ball speed and more distance.
The expanded face-to-back distance (114 mm) increases the MOI for improved forgiveness and increased distance.

What a driver head! Just built this last night and used it this morning. face and crown look good at setup. Sound is good. Solid driver

Had Monark build this driver per our specs for my wife and it transformed her driving game. She is one of the long hitters among the women at our club although she has only been playing a year and she'll be turning 59 this month

Made a driver for my wife using this head. I adjusted the weights according to the instructions. I really thought that these weights were a gimmick. I was dead wrong and the description for the club head is misleading. I adjusted the shot shaping weight away from the hosel to prevent a slice. I adjusted the weight all the way to the rear of the clubhead in the track that is perpendicular to the face for maximum forgiveness. The shot shaping worked. The center track is the opposite of the description. We could not get the ball in the air with a 12 degree driver. Mind you, I regularly hit a 6 degree driver. Good news! Move the weight all the way towards the face and the club acts like a very forgiving 12 degree club! With center track weight all the way back, the club was unhittable. Now with the weight all the way toward the face of the club, my wife loves it!
